The team competition featured 14 units battling for prizes in five categories.

Here is what we said last year: “Team RAT from Reading, Pennsylvania, swept all but one of the team categories. The RATs have been long time supporters of the Bull Run Run.”

Well, it happened again. The She Rats won the female category, and the Cool Rats won the coed category. The Rat sweep was prevented by the dream team, “Dude pass the chia seeds dude.” That team finished in places 3,4,6,and 7.

The oldest division was won by The Survivors. Each team member had survived significant medical problems to finish the race.

The much-fought over title of slowest team was won by Complex Roots of Unity.

Six teams lost troops in or before the battle and were disqualified.

Results

Teams are scored by the sum of the places of all members. (We moved from using total times a couple of years ago. Even for a computer, adding integars, is much simpler than adding times.) Lowest score wins in the fastest categories. Highest score wins in the slowest category. If any runner does does not start or does not finish within the event time limit, his or her team is disqualified.
