Runs

In addition to our races and running events, the VHTRC is associated with a number of unofficial training runs. These runs require no sign-up, offer no guarantees, and no one is officially in charge. But there will surely be a number of club members there.

Weekly training runs

Sundays in the Park

Every Sunday at 8:00 am, Rock Creek Park

Explore the trails of Rock Creek Park on these low-key runs. We leave at 8:00 am from either Peirce Mill or Theodore Roosevelt Island and the runs are roughly 7–10 miles long (see the schedule). No sign-up required.

Wednesday “Wolfpack” Runs

Every Wednesday at 6:00 pm, Great Falls Park

Every Wednesday at 6:00 pm the VHTRC, in partnership with DC Capital Striders, leads a trail run in Great Falls National Park.
