On Saturday, August 10, the club held its annual Volunteers’ Party, a celebration for the generous volunteers who help out at club events throughout the year. Over 100 club members, volunteers, and their families enjoyed fellowship at Gary Knipling’s home on Mason Neck, treated with gourmet grilling by Bob Fabia and hand selected beers by Joe Clapper. About a dozen runners came early for the 9:00 a.m. run on the trails of Mason Neck, during which several eagles were spotted.

Megan Stegemiller first female at OD100

Race report

Megan Stegemiller finished the 35th Old Dominion 100 in 23:31, good enough for first place female and the coveted sub-24 OD buckle. Keith Knipling also broke 24 hours to earn his second buckle in two weeks after finishing MMT.
