Minutes from January 14, 2025 Board Meeting

Board members present: Jon Jester, Chelsea Smith, Ivory Lira, John Calabrese and Heather Dougherty

New business

2025 Budget
• Increasing membership dues to $25 effective July 1, 2025
o Members get first entry to events
• Keep tributes from club races as is
o Email RD’s to inform them of their tribute
• Move storage unit in April to reduce costs (during BRR)
o 10x15 unit
o Drive up capability
o Does not need to be climate control
• Event Directors – review budget approve by 2/2/2025
Awards Party
• Need to replace Katie as event organizer for awards.
• Katie will continue host the party.
o Rent the venue/organize day of details
Transgender/Nonbinary Policy
• Updating our current transgender policy to include nonbinary
• To be discussed more in detail during our February meeting

Other business

Past Races/Events
• MGM – new format successful
• Boyer’s – increase to budget by $50
• Redeye – new event director is Leigh McCue
Upcoming events/runs
• Awards Party – Feb 1st
o Katie Keier will be stepping down from Awards but will continue to host.
• MMT Training Run 1
• Waterfall
• BRR Training Run 1
