Whiteoak Canyon Trailhead
One of Shenandoah National Park’s most popular destinations is Whiteoak Canyon and its six waterfalls, with heights ranging from 35 to 86 feet.
The canyon is also relatively close to Hawksbill Mountain, the tallest peak in the park at 4,050 feet, making for some runs with significant elevation gain. This is the place many runners go when training for tough western 100s. The trailhead is nestled off of Weakley Hollow Road, between Sperryville and Madison, VA.
