Rose River Trailhead
One hollow over from Whiteoak Canyon, the Rose River Trailhead sits at the end of the Old Blue Ridge Turnpike (State Route 670), which was built in the 1850s to connect the farms in the Shenandoah Valley with the railroads in the east. The remnants of the old turnpike are now the Rose River Fire Road.
