The VHTRC’s 24th December fat ass run, the Magnus Gluteus Maximus 50km, was held on December 5. The weather was perfect. As Joe said, “170 runners hit the dirt- that is a record. 23 volunteers- that is a record. No nudity reported- that is a record. Many good times.”

Here are the results. Anyone who takes these results seriously, including any Web site that republishes them, just doesn’t get it.

Joe indicated that the following snarky disclaimer should be added: I am not changing anything even if it messes up somebodies Ultra ranking and it was my fault. That is not the point and I don’t care. It was a beautiful day, in a beautiful place, with friends. Those are the measures that truly count when adding up your life. (and good beer)
