You must be at least 18 years old on race day to enter. There is one exception to this rule: If you will be at least 16 years old on the day of the race, you may enter if you are on a mother-daughter team.

Covid Info / Precautions

The pandemic is a moving target and the race director will consider the state of community spread as the race approaches and require safety precautions on race day as necessary.

The entire event, including runner check-in, is outdoors. The entry field is limited to 240 people, and runners spread out fairly quickly into the race — there’s lots of room in the first mile.

In the event that the race must be canceled for public safety, you will be compensated with either a full refund of your entry fee (less RunReg fees) or an entry slot for the next Women’s Half Marathon.

How You Pay

All registration is online via RunReg. You don’t need to set up an account; you can check out as a guest.

Transfers

Entry is not transferable to other runners.

Refunds

The Virginia Happy Trails Running Club is a nonprofit organization and we don’t want to take money from you if you’re not getting something from us. We are pleased to offer full refunds (minus RunReg transaction fees) if you can’t run. The deadline to withdraw and get a refund is August 14. Should you need to withdraw from the race, contact the race director.
