Search for the new Bull Run Run RD

After 5 amazing years of leading runners around the Bull Run-Occoquan Trail, Katie Keier and Quatro Hubbard have decided that 2024 will be their last year directing the Bull Run Run 50 miler. Katie and Quatro have asked the VHTRC board to help find a successor or successors, to work side by side with them on the 2024 race before going solo on the 2025 event.

Want to be the next BRR 50 RD?

If you’re interested in becoming the race director for BRR, email answers to the following questions to the Board by 2/1/2024.

  1. Why do you want to be the race director?
  2. Why you think you would be a good fit?
  3. What is your volunteer experience with VHTRC or other races?

Candidates must be members of the club. The ideal candidate will have some of these qualities:

  • Strong organization/project management skills
  • Prior race/fatass direction
  • Experience running at least one 50-miler
  • Experience running along the Bull Run-Occoquan Trail
  • Ability to charm volunteers into showing up extra early for parking 🙂

This is an unpaid, volunteer role.

Love BRR but not sure you want to commit to being the RD? We are always in need of amazing volunteers!
