Neal Gorman runs a FKT on TWOT
Neal reported on his blog that he set a Fastest Known Time (FKT) on The Wild Oak Trail (TWOT). Neal ran the 26-mile, 7,000+ feet of climb loop counter-clockwise and finished on the road to the trail parking lot in 4:21:19. David Frazier apparently still holds the FKT of a CCW run with a start and finish on the trail at the trailhead in 4:22:xx, which broke Mike Morton’s then-FKT of 4:23:xx. The TWOT loop has been changed slightly in the past year, so these FKTs are relative…and impressive!
