Bethany Patterson voted 10th in Ultrarunning Magazine UROY poll

Bethany won every race she entered this year — Holiday Lake 50k, Terrapin Mountain 50k, Promise Land 50k, Mountain Masochist 50, and Hellgate 100k. The lone exception was a second place finish at White River 50 in July. As a result, UR Magazine voted her 10th in the Female Runner of the Year standings.

In 2003, Bethany was named Trail Runner Magazine’s Female Runner of the Year after winning Uwharrie 40, MMT, Mountain Masochist 50, and JFK 50.
